Regardless of what an employee’s role is, at some point, they will have to work with other people at the company – whether that’s a colleague, customer, or other stakeholders. In many businesses, there are some individuals or teams that are the backbone of the organization. They do important work but are not often in the limelight. For example, clerical staff or the administrative group perform necessary and critical functions of many organizations, but they may not be acknowledged as much as the sales team.
